I offer clinical consultation for therapists working with individuals and couples, particularly in cases involving trauma, sexual concerns, attachment injuries, and high-conflict patterns.
Consultation can provide a thoughtful space to reflect on complex cases, consider different clinical approaches, and support the therapist in maintaining clarity and steadiness when the work becomes challenging.
Consultation may be helpful for clinicians who are:
- Working with couples experiencing recurring conflict or emotional disengagement
- Navigating sexual concerns, desire discrepancies, or intimacy challenges
- Supporting couples recovering from betrayal or infidelity
- Integrating trauma-informed approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) or EMDR into relational work
- Feeling stuck or uncertain about how to move a case forward
- Wanting a reflective space to think through complex relational dynamics
Areas of focus may include:
- Couples therapy dynamics and intervention strategies
- Sexual concerns and intimacy in long-term relationships
- Betrayal trauma and rebuilding trust after infidelity
- Attachment dynamics and emotional reactivity in couples
- Integrating IFS in relational and trauma therapy
- Working with polarized partners and high-conflict couples
- Therapist countertransference and maintaining therapeutic stance
My work is informed by training in couples and sex therapy through AACAST, as well as IFS and Right Brain Psychotherapy. In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a clinical supervisor and co-director of AACAST and have taught psychotherapy to psychiatry residents at UCLA and USC.
Consultation is available for individual clinicians or small consultation groups. Sessions are typically conducted via secure video and focus on specific clinical cases or broader questions related to couples, sex and individual therapy.
If you are interested in consultation, you are welcome to contact me to discuss your needs and determine whether consultation would be helpful for your work.
